The
Gary & Gail Show!
We’re delighted to
announce that two of the finest golf coaches in the country have joined the
Golfbidder team...
The
King of Swing!
Gary Alliss, Head Professional
at the Belfry, Manager of the PGA National Golf Academy at the Belfry, Captain
of the Great Britain PGA Team – and one of the top golf coaches in Europe – has
joined the Golfbidder team to offer expert tips and advice to our lucky users.
Having played on the European Tour and been a golf professional at several
British clubs, Gary returned to Cornwall and Trevose Golf Club in 1984. He was
appointed Director of Golf and coached several boys from beginners to
International selection. Gary is one of only a handful of qualified PGA Swing
Instructors – and it was whilst training PGA professionals to teach that he
earned his nickname, the 'King of Swing'.
Like to combine some personal golf tuition from the maestro himself with 2 weeks
in paradise? Gary is taking his Academy to Mauritius in January 2008. Click

And
on the Golfing Mind...
May we also introduce someone who
works closely with Gary - Gail Smirthwaite – one of the country’s foremost golf
mind experts. Gail works with the PGA and leading PGA Professionals and
amateurs of all standards to improve the mental side of their golf game.
Gail gained her honours degree in Social Studies at the University of Sussex
and University of California San Diego. She has had many successes in coaching
professional and non-professional golfers to lower their handicaps. Through
motivation, confidence building and helping her students to gain greater
awareness in themselves and their abilities, Gail believes that it is as
important to master life’s game if you are to master the game of golf; the
person you are off the golf course is the person you are on the golf course!
