About Ping Drivers

Ping Golf

Ping is the pioneers of custom fitting and produce some of the best golf clubs in the entire industry. Their golf clubs are manufactured and setup to exacting standards and are used by many of the world’s finest golfers. Ping proudly boast players like Hunter Mahan, former US Open and Masters Champion Angel Cabrera, Ryder Cup heroes Lee Westwood and Miguel Angel Jimenez and Big hitting Bubba Watson as sting of their bow. Have a look through our In the Bag section to see which Ping Pros are using which Ping equipment.

At Golfbidder we have one of the broadest ranges of Ping golf clubs in Europe. We have Ping golf clubs from the latest models to old favourites which may be a few years old but are still used on the professional tours and employ cutting-edge Ping technology.

Karsten Solheim and Ping are credited with numerous innovations that have become industry standards. These include perimeter weighting, custom fitting and the use of investment casting in the manufacturing of golf clubs.

Karsten’s insistence on adhering to strict engineering principles and tight manufacturing tolerances raised the level of product performance and quality throughout the golf industry. Ping’s founder, Karsten, is the only person to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame as a golf club manufacturer.

Today, the Phoenix-based company is under the direction of John A. Solheim. Ping game-improvement products can be found in more than 70 countries. Ping engineers develop their golf clubs in a virtual world to ensure the highest level of performance before the clubs even reach the first tee.

Factors such as moment of inertia (MOI), centre of gravity (CG) location, crown structure and face thickness are carefully studied with the goal of designing longer, straighter and more consistent Ping drivers. Even the clubs acoustics are analyzed to ensure a powerful sound and feel.
