Other Irons

Consider the following features when deciding which Other irons are most suitable for your game.

Other irons – cavity backs
Cavity back Other irons have a hollow in the back of the club head. This creates more mass around the perimeter of the club head. Other irons with cavity backs are therefore less prone to twisting when you miss the sweet spot. This makes Other irons with cavity backs more forgiving. Many tour professionals now use cavity back irons. Other irons with deeper cavities are more forgiving but offer less feel to your shots.

Other irons – blades
Bladed Other irons have a thinner club head and no cavity in the back. Other blades provide lots of feel but are less forgiving to hit. Blades are best suited for players with low handicaps.

Other irons – shafts
Other irons with graphite shafts are lighter and more suitable for golfers with slower swings or higher handicaps. Golfers with fast swings usually find they are more accurate with steel shafted Other irons. Most golf professionals with Other irons play steel shafts. New Other irons with graphite shafts typically cost euros 100-200 more than a set with steel shafts.

Other irons - flex
Other irons with regular flex shafts will be suitable for most golfers. If you have a low handicap or fast swing you may prefer Other irons with a stiffer shaft. If you have a higher handicap or slower swing you may prefer Other irons with a more flexible shaft.

Other irons – lie Other
irons with a standard lie are suitable for most golfers. If you are a tall golfer or have a more upright swing you may prefer Other irons with a lie that is 1-2 degrees upright. If you are a short golfer or have a flatter swing you may prefer Other irons with a lie that is 1-2 degrees flatter.
