For their new Rescue Hybrid in 2009 Taylor Made went back to the old school. They have taken the appearance characteristics of the still popular Taylor Made Rescue Mid and employed it's slim appearance to the new Rescue 09. However they have still managed to cram all the excellent performance characteristics of the Burner Rescue. So in short they have merged the slim and sleek design of the Rescue Mid with the huge performance of the Burner Rescue into the ultimate Rescue club - the TaylorMade Rescue 09. HERE'S THE DETAIL...Compared to the company's original Rescue Mid, the Rescue 2009 has about the same sized head, but with an ultra-thin crown, more weight in the sole, and a lower and deeper centre of gravity. The new Rescue also has a redesigned sole, one that produces less contact with the turf because of recessed areas at the toe and heel. The standard TaylorMade Rescue 09 uses an Aldila RE*AX 65-gram graphite shaft, and will be offered in 2, 3, 4 and 5 right-handed and 3, 4 and 5 left-handed
