| Another great club from Srixon, 450cc but manages to look a third smaller than other 460cc heads. Although I have not put this club into play on the course have high hopes of it knocking the W-403 out of the bag at some point. Have tried it head to head at the range against my current driver and believe the head to be 10-15 yards longer & more forgiving when using standard shafts. Averaging around 210=220yrds carry with dodgy range balls and an easy swing. Stock shaft seems to suit a "swinger" and is a little wippy and high flighted for me personally, but playable(no ballooning). Having recently putting a graf blue in the 403 will wait until I get the chance to reshaft and regrip before making the switch.
Great service and price as usual from golfbidder. Didn't need a driver but won the bid @ £75 brand new and I'd had my eye on one for a while..... |

| I am not a consistent swinger of a golf club and required a new driver due to previous club non conforming. This club seems to fit the bill I am getting furthur than with my old club which was 9.5. Even if I hit a poorer shot it still remains fairly straight. Part of the secret appears to be Teeing the ball higher than I normally would.I would recommend this club for the average golfer it is forgiving and easy to swing and it comes at a good price. |

| I exchanged a PING 9 degree G5 Aldila NV for this club. I always stuggled to hit the PING despite many lessons and can only assume that the stiff high break point shaft along with the low loft and torque was too much for my ageing swing!!
I find the Srixon much more forgiving and towards the end of the round, when I was usually struggling the most with the PING, the Srixon continues to send the ball soaring down the fairway.
I get alot more feel with the Srixon and have started to get that confidence back where I know the ball is going to be sent along way down the middle.
The Srixon is 9.5 degree also with a stiff high break point shaft. It has a higher torque rating and I can only assume that the additional twist in the shaft along with the extra half degree loft helps with my poorer swings. |
