But which glove? Leather or synthetic? Leather is better used in dry conditions. It’s thinner than synthetic so closer to your skin which provides better feel. Synthetic however are much better in humid condition even wet weather. Generally thicker than leather, it will last longer.
Which size? The closer to your skin, the better. Always carry 2 or 3 gloves in your bag in wet weather, change to a dry glove as soon as the one you are using is wet.
