The R7 Quad is around 7 year's old the one I received was in excellent condition. I prefer the 400cc head size to the modern 460. This driver retailed at £499 originally, and like Donal states in the videos, just because it's old doesn't mean it's no good. Long, straight and workable, I'm delighted with my purchase.

After buying this excellent club, I altered the weight 10-2-10-2, with the result o pulling the ball constantly. So I went back to 2-10-10-2 (dont remember how the weight was when i got the club). Then the curve was superb, resulting in a nice lower more penetrating curve than with my old R7 Draw (460cc 10,5 degre reg. shaft) wich i hit high and not so penetrating. I havent found the right setup for the weights, but I'll give it a go on the range! If any one has an guide for the weights email me at: thehappygolfer [at] gmail dot com.
I dont know if i have gotten extra length, (i've only played in rainy, windy conditions), but i'm confident that this club will give me more fairway hits then before! With the weight options, there is many modes for setting this club up depending of the golfer! i can only recomend this club

Having recently purchased my R7 Quad it has taken a while for me to adjust the weighting system to suit my swing. I have now set the club at high neutral but this still allows me to shape shots accordingly. I`m growing in confidence every time I go to use it and have found that a high tee helps with great distance(250 carry). A great sevice from golfbidder will use them again forget ebay go to golfbidder a very professional service. Hoping this driver will bring my handicap to single figures next season. DON`T FORGET TEE IT HIGH WATCH IT FLY !!!!!

A friend gave me the opportunity to try the R7 Quad at my local course. The smaller head and sensation of feeling a little more weight in the head works for me. The difference between my old faithful driver and the E7 Quad is more balls on the fairway and 10 yards further on.
I’ve played a couple of rounds with the weights set up for a low draw, however I can see the advantages, depending on how you hit the ball and the weather conditions in repositioning the weights.
I got no instructions with the club from Golf Bidder, however a telephone call to them directed me to the Taylor Made web site which has a graph explaining the 6 diferent weight positions and resulting ball flight.
The club was delivered to me in France and arrived in 3 days, condition as descibed, (original head cover rather tatty although it’s the club that does the talking) at a price you could not buy anywhere else cheaper.and I considered buying off ebay.

WANT TO HIT THE BALL LOW AND STRAIGHT LIKE SERGIO PUT THE WEIGHTS AS INSTRUCTED 2 HIT A LOW DRAW AND WATCH THE RESULTS. IN MY VIEW THE BEST DRIVER I HAVE HIT EVEN OFF THE MIDDLE HITS WERE BOOMING DOWN THE FAIRWAY. HAS ADDED 30-40 YARDS OFF THE TEE WHICH NOW RESULTS IN HAVING A 9 IRON INTO THE GREEN INSTEAD OF A 6 IRON IF YOU DONT HAVE 1 GO OUT AND BUY 1 NOW AND WATCH YOUR HANDICAP COME DOWN.
